Arizona Safe Baby Haven Foundation

Arizona Safe Baby Haven strives to provide safe, legal and lifesaving alternatives to infant abandonment. Our goal is to raise awareness of the Safe Haven law in Arizona and assist a mother in any crisis situation, by providing education, resources and options. This law offers an anonymity for mothers who wish to relinquish their unharmed newborn, within 72 hours of birth, to a Safe Haven provider.

Arizona Safe Baby Haven volunteers work tirelessly to save the lives of innocent newborns and provide relief for a mother who is scared, alone and unsure of her options. Our 24/7 hotline is staffed by a trained Crisis Response Team, providing a 3 tiered process for a mother that calls in need of assistance, the process includes: parenting- if this is an option, what resources are needed, adoption- our adoption agency specialists are trained to provide multiple options for a mother, Safe Haven- this is explained in detail according to AZ State law and a list of Safe Haven providers are provided. Safe Haven providers include hospitals and staff, on duty firefighter and EMS, participating adoption agencies, churches and welfare agencies. The organization also provides education through various outlets within the community, while providing training for designated providers. There is not a monetary value placed on life, every life is worth saving.
