The Backside Learning Center (BLC) is an independent non-profit organization providing support and resources in a safe, welcoming environment for the diverse community of racetrack workers and their families.
Every donation we receive supports our mission to support racetrack workers and their family. Join us in giving back to the community that makes the races happen.
Last year our familia, helped us raise close to $50,000 which allowed us to continue providing free after school programs, adult english classes, mental health workshops, comprehensive case management and so much more! We provide these services and programs year round for racetrack workers who live on the backside of Churchill Downs, Trackside/Spectrum and their families.
