Bainbridge Boys Lacrosse

A nonprofit organization

The Boys Lacrosse program on Bainbridge Island, formed in 1989, was one of the first teams in the Washington High School Boys Lacrosse Association. Over the years Bainbridge has won 11 State Championships, 6-time Runner-up State Champions, and qualified for the state playoffs every year to this date.

Bainbridge Lacrosse is proud of our winning record but even more proud of the quality of the young men who have played on its teams. Over the years our players have received numerous accolades both on and off the field including several national All-American recipients, but more importantly Bainbridge Lacrosse is most proud of our Academic All-American honorees.

The program has stressed respect, commitment and discipline. Lacrosse is the oldest sport in North America and has its roots in Native American culture. It is an exciting fast-moving sport where each player handles the ball. Lacrosse puts a heavy emphasis on team play and coordination. This amazing sport is not covered within the state education system for school funded programs, so the club is 100% responsible for covering all costs.

Bainbridge Boys Lacrosse has a volunteer board and is a non for profit 501c3. Beyond registration fees, fundraising is critical each year to cover field fees, equipment, coaches and league fees.

We have a supportive community in the local business and player parents that we have always appreciated.  Covid has presented challenges over the last year and we are looking forward to a full season this year for our players. Resilience and a common goal during these difficult times is essential.

We appreciate the support of our members and local community. Thank you for consideration.
