Ballet Brazos

Ballet Brazos is a non-profit regional ballet company. Our organization serves dancers, our patrons, and outreach opportunities throughout the Brazos Valley. Our mission is to instruct, educate, and enrich the lives of young people through the art of dance, whether on the stage as a performer or in the audience as a spectator. We offer scholarships so that no qualified dancer is turned away due to financial difficulty. We bring quality classical ballet to the stage for audiences of all ages.

We stand alone in the community but collaborate with local studios and their students in ways that help showcase local talent, cultivate an appreciation for the arts, and inspire the next generation of dancers. Each year our dancers perform a full-length production of The Nutcracker Ballet in A&M's Rudder Auditorium. After auditioning in August and training for months, the dancers take the stage with a few professional dancers including principals from the New York City Ballet. Additional smaller performances are shared at local public libraries, the Children's Museum, and schools in our community. Ballet Brazos also partners with the Brazos Valley Symphony Orchestra, for their annual Children's Concert.

Ballet Brazos is supported by ticket sales, generous supporters, and grant funding. Donations of any amount are greatly appreciated. Your contribution will help our organization continue sharing the hard work and talent of local dancers and the magic of this time-honored holiday tradition.
