Established in 1854, the Basilica of the Immaculate Conception in downtown Jacksonville, Florida, embodies the city's most enduring and continuous Catholic community. The current building, dating to 1910, was added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places in 1992 and was named a minor basilica in 2013.
