BCS Together

A nonprofit organization

BCS Together ensures no one has to care for kids alone by providing resources, relationship, and awareness so that foster, adoptive, and kinship families thrive.

BCS Together ensures no one has to care for kids alone by providing resources, relationships, and awareness so that foster, adoptive, and kinship families thrive.

We do this through a few programs:

The Closet helps ease the overwhelming feeling of welcoming a new child or placement into families' homes by providing them with free items like diapers, car seats, and clothing (1,186 children served this year).

Families Count is a family restoration and preservation ministry for parents seeking permanency with their children who are in foster care (29 parent graduates total).

Kinship Connection provides kinship caregivers with direct services and tangible essentials so they can confidently care for children long-term.

CarePortal connects the Local Church as the point of care for vulnerable kids and families and invites church responders to meet real needs in real time (277 kids served this year).

Testimonials

Samantha was a graduate of our first Families Count parenting class. Samantha shared with a Child Protective Services supervisor that this class works. She said that she participated in other local parenting classes and didn't feel confident at completion until she completed Families Count. She is grateful for the connection with her mentor and considers her a friend. "Nothing else works, but this works!" -Samantha, '23 Families Count Graduate
