Because you care, land is being protected.
Your gift helps conserve the forests, farms, and wetlands that keep our water clean, support local food, and give wildlife a place to live.
It doesn’t happen on its own. It happens because people like you step up.
Through partnerships with local landowners, towns, and communities, Bear-Paw uses conservation easements to protect land—permanently. That means families can continue to farm, forests can be responsibly managed, and the land stays whole.
Not paved. Not broken up. Not lost.
Your support protects this land across eleven towns in southern New Hampshire. It connects people to nature. It protects clean water. It leaves something lasting for future generations.
When you give today, you join a dedicated group of neighbors who are creating a lasting legacy of connection—to each other, to the land, and to the life it supports.
Please give now. Because every acre saved is a promise kept.
Bear-Paw Regional Greenways is a land trust with a mission to permanently conserve a network of lands that protects our region’s water, wildlife habitat, forests, and farmland. Established by resident volunteers, Bear-Paw works to conserve open space through outreach, education, and land protection project assistance. We envision a region of scenic beauty and rural character where diversity and quality of life are sustained.
Bear-Paw primarily serves an eleven-town region that includes Allenstown, Barnstead, Candia, Deerfield, Epsom, Hooksett, Northwood, Nottingham, Pittsfield, Raymond, and Strafford, New Hampshire.
Our goal is to safeguard water resources, native wildlife and plant habitat, travel corridors, working farms and forests, the region's inherent beauty, and local recreational opportunities. Our volunteers and staff work with landowners, communities, and the public to identify opportunities for conservation, promote available conservation options, and assist with the completion of land protection projects.
