Keep North Platte & Lincoln County Beautiful

A nonprofit organization

We are seeking funds to help refurbish the fountain at Cody Park. The fountain has historic roots leading back to 1928. It was created using a pillar from the Dickey Building in Downtown North Platte. RR Dickey remodeled the building, removing the cornerstone to be used as the fountain we see today. Let's save this precious landmark. Additionally, the funds are used for a robust education program regarding the environment. The mission of Keep North Platte and Lincoln County Beautiful is to educate and interact with the public encouraging a litter free environment, beautification, and waste reduction.

This grassroots organization has worked for the past 40 years to offer a wide array of services that keep our communities cleaner, greener, more beautiful places to live, work and play. Over the past year, Keep North Platte and Lincoln County Beautiful has rallied 5,000 volunteers who have in part cleaned 320 miles of roads, 3 waterways, and public spaces in Lincoln County. This resulted in about 5 tons of litter being kept out of our communities! We are the sum of many working together to better the place in which we live. We have impacted economic development and community pride. Our dedicated volunteers, Board of Directors and staff are working hard to create a region in which people seek to visit and businesses choose to stay.
