Bella Terra Stables is a nonprofit organization dedicated to enhancing mental health and emotional well-being through equine-assisted psychotherapy and learning programs. We offer trauma-focused modalities such as equine-assisted EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), as well as individualized and group-based interventions designed to support healing, build resilience, and foster personal growth. We work closely with local school districts and community organizations to provide trauma-informed, farm-based programming that is especially impactful for children and youth in underserved communities. Whether supporting a young person navigating anxiety, helping a trauma survivor find their voice, or guiding a student in developing emotional regulation, our work is rooted in empathy, connection, and clinical best practices. At the heart of our mission are our retired and rescued therapy horses who serve as powerful partners in the healing process. By uniting the natural rhythms of the farm with evidence-based therapeutic approaches, we offer a restorative space where individuals can reconnect with themselves, build healthy relationships, and discover new paths forward.
