Beloved Community UMC

Established in 1920 as LaSalle United Methodist Church in St. Louis, Missouri, Beloved Community has been in ministry to the near Southside (the Gate District) community for 100 years. We are in partnerships with other congregations, the Southside Senior Wellness Center, Food Ministry Partnership, the Gate District Community Organization and other community organizations.

Beloved Community is a community meeting place and forum. Funds raised during Give STL Day will support our Community Non Violence Program, Campus Ministry with Harris Stowe and St. Louis University, Nightlife Ministries, Senior Ministry - Community Garden, Youth Leadership Development Institute and the Reading by 3rd Tutoring Program at Hodgen Tech Academy.
