Bethany Outreach Center

Bethany Outreach Center is a volunteer driven
Christian organization, rooted in Erie's most impoverished zip code, 16501.  Our organization is known for reaching out
to ALL people who need a hand up and hope for life change. Our broad based
ministries address the material, vocational, spiritual, and physical needs of
people on the edge.

We are a hub for hope to individuals in need of support and a haven for social service connections. We reach out with open arms and are
family to those who are lonely, unloved, and misunderstood. Bethany Outreach Center provides life essential services and empower our low-income families through enrichment programs and partnerships that lead to jobs and fulfillment.

Our non-profit agency caters toward the needs of a growing audience made up by individuals and families that we provide services to weekly through out the year. Those services include distribution of food through our food pantry, distribution of clothing through our clothes closet, and education with an emphasis on literacy, healthy living, and art. All of the programs and services that we provide to the community are FREE of charge. The majority of the families that we serve have a house hold income that is at or below 150% poverty level. For the past several months we have served upto 220 families in our highest week of distribution. Can you imagine how many would suffer if we could not provide these services?
