Be the Light Foundation

Our mission is to offer hope, support and guidance to those with mental health disorders, live with suicide ideation, have a lived experience and survivors who have lost a loved one to suicide. We offer education, training, resources, support groups, community events and financial assistance. We are working to increase mental health and suicide awareness within the Grand Island community and surrounding areas.

We are trying to bring support to our community and surrounding area about mental health and suicide. Currently we have a mental health support group and it continues to grow, we are starting a survivor of suicide loss support groups and a few other support groups. We will be offering multiple trainings at no cost. We are working hard to help people who struggle with mental health issues by offering them support and guidance. We want offer support to those who have lost a loved one to suicide. Offering education, training and resources to the community and surrounding areas. We want to break the stigma about mental health and suicide.
