Better Days Rescue Fund, Inc

Better Days Rescue Fund is a cat sanctuary located in Roxbury. We provide lifetime care for cats that are unadoptable and need a safe haven to thrive and live out their lives. We only see the “special” in special needs!

We provide an important service to the community, providing rescues, shelters and Animal Control Officers with an alternative to euthanizing cats that are difficult to place for adoption.  We rescue feral cats, FIV+, deaf, injured, older cats, diabetic cats, cats with missing eyes, missing ears and limbs, and many other health and behavior challenges. We feel that every life is important. If we can bring better days and quality of life to a cat that has suffered for years just trying to survive in the most unfathomable conditions, then we make every effort to do it. We show them kindness, love and understanding of their physical or behavioral issues. They reward us by flourishing and loving their life. Our residents live at our sanctuary for their natural life and they are loved.

Our Sanctuary provides a “cat habitat” that fills every need for these special cats, including an outdoor enclosure that allows them to be in the sun, fresh air and even to climb a tree all while remaining safely inside the enclosure.

What we provide is unique and there is a huge demand. We always have a waiting list. We are in need of constant funding to maintain the health of these special needs cats that have ongoing issues that require a lot of expensive veterinary care,  and we have the up-keep of the sanctuary itself. We have experience, energy, dedication and most importantly compassion and empathy to care for many cats that are unadoptable, unwanted and forgotten. We
hope that you will find it in your heart to donate to our very important mission and help us to continue saving these precious lives.
