Big Easy Animal Rescue

Big Easy Animal Rescue (B.E.A.R.) is a local, woman-led non-profit powered by an all-volunteer crew. We rescue, foster, and care for neglected and abused animals in the Greater New Orleans area. This year's funds will support a mobile unit to spay, neuter, and deliver critical medical services within low-income neighborhoods. Animals are forever friends who give us unconditional love. Your donation, of any size, will provide abandoned and surrendered pets a second chance at life.

Within the past year, thanks to generous donors and dedicated volunteers, we've launched a low-cost, pop-up wellness clinic in the Marigny. We are now seeking support to fund a surgical suite, allowing us to partner with a full-time vet, expand low-cost services, and offer spay/neuter and dental services at no cost to pet parents in the community.
