Blanketing Families

Serving Others, that is our mission! Our goal is to "cover" families and individuals in need all year long. Whatever the need is, whether that be house hold items to include gently used or new blankets, clothing, and toiletries to fresh and/or non-perishable food and water we can continue to cover anyone in need every season, all year with hope + kindness. In humility we value others above ourselves.

Blanketing Families, Inc is dedicated to the community. We work hard to serve the community throughout the year providing seasonal appropriate donations. From cancer patients to vets, and everyone in between, if you're in need, homeless or just hungry, we've got you covered! And most importantly, we do all of this while treating our donatees with respect and humility.

The Blanketing Families, Inc. Co-Founder and President, Annette Hammond, is a two-time cancer survivor of breast cancer and leukemia (AML).

On her journey, she's had lots of love and support from family and close friends, and is ready to give it back! With the help of her twin sister, the other BFAM Co-Founder, Ann, these breathe life and light into everything Blanketing Families, Inc. does.

Governor McMaster has written us two letters for outstanding service in the community!
We also received a beautiful donation from our Guardian Angel donor through Midlands Gives.
We have a partnership with The United Way of Kershaw County, and started Elgin's very first Community Garden!
Our other partnership is with The Camden Junior Welfare League.
From Chairman Julian Burnes we received the Coin of Excellence twice!
And finally, our amazing partnership with Door Dash/DoorMart which helps us feed those in need healthy options, thus improving the health and well-being of the community.
