Boys & Girls Clubs of Kentuckiana

Boys & Girls Clubs of Kentuckiana (BGCK) fills the gap between school and home. We provide welcoming, positive environments in which kids and teens have fun, participate in life-changing programs, and build supportive relationships with peers and caring adults. Our Clubs encourage the development of the whole child by focusing on 3 priority outcome areas: Academic Success, Good Character & Citizenship and Healthy Lifestyles. In addition, Boys & Girls Clubs of Kentuckiana operates Kids Cafes in each of its Clubs in partnership with the Dare to Care Food Bank, serving a hot meal and snacks every day. 

Every day 1 out of 5 kids in Kentucky leaves school with nowhere to go. They risk being unsupervised, unguided, and unsafe. BGCK operates 4 Club locations in the California, Newburg, Parkland, and Shawnee neighborhoods that provide safe places for youth to access resources, make friends, and achieve Great Futures during the school year and summer. 

Your generous donations will help us maintain Access & Academic Recovery at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Kentuckiana! During the summer months, Clubs help prevent learning loss, promote mental & physical wellness, serve daily hot meals, and offer a safe place to go with like-minded peers and positive mentors. 

 $2,000.00 - Supports Academic Success Programs to help youth graduate high school on time and prepare for careers

$1,000.00 - Supports Healthy Lifestyles Programs that engage with positive behaviors, personal goals, and self-sufficiency

$500.00 - Supports Character & Citizenship Programs to develop leadership skills, decision-making, and responsibility

$250.00 - Covers programming supplies for 1 youth for 1 month

$100.00 - Provides Club membership scholarship to 1 youth for a full year

$50.00 - Purchases healthy, daily snacks for our Clubs

Who We Are

Boys & Girls Clubs of Kentuckiana (BGCK) is an out-of-school time provider, offering a safe haven for youth who need us. We open our doors and our arms to kids ages 6-18, in a safe, positive environment.
