Boys & Girls Clubs of Northeastern Pennsylvania

The Boys & Girls Clubs of NEPA's mission is to inspire and enable all young
people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as
productive, caring, responsible citizens. 
This mission is accomplished through the initiatives offered, year
round, in our After School Program, via Boys & Girls Clubs five core
program areas.  The core programs
encourage activities with adults, peers, community leaders, and family
members.  The diversified offerings are
crafted to make a difference in the youngsters’ lives by enhancing their growth
and development through activities that leave a positive mark on their
physical, emotional, cultural and social needs.

Who We Are

Founded in 1899, chartered in 1916 and incorporated in 1927, the Boys & Girls Clubs of NEPA has been in the forefront of youth development activities, working with young people from disadvantaged economic, social and family circumstances. Through our After School and Summer Day Camp Programs, the Club offers youth what they need and want most; adults who respect and listen to them, a safe environment where they can have fun and be themselves, and interesting, constructive activities. Within these programs, we offer daily activities such as gymnasium activities, art and craft projects, homework help, nutritious meals, programming specifically for teens, a game room and much more. Children of all nationalities, races and creeds join together in recreation and companionship.
