Brainstormers of New Orleans Inc. is a non-profit 501(c)(3) support group for the acquired traumatic brain injury community. Dedicated to providing a comfortable arena for individuals with compromised cognitive and motor skills resulting from an acquired or traumatic brain injury. We provide an inclusive, joyful environment to celebrate our lives and each other's creativity to reinforce a sense of self-worth.

Awareness
Educating the community on the hardships and rehabilitation efforts of the traumatic brain injury survivor. Giving life to the stories, triumphs and challenges of life after trauma.

Promoting traumatic brain injury support through community collaborations
Depression is common and connections are critical. We strive to facilitate and encourage collaborations between survivors, and any other relationship that will net a positive in their lives.

Supporting traumatic brain injury awareness through local outreach
Listen to Us Live radio provides a local platform for individuals with traumatic brain injuries to share their stories and to promote awareness of the needs of brain injury survivors.

Listen to Us Live is a weekly radio show on WHIV 102.3 New Orleans. Airing every Saturday at 11am Central, Listen to Us Live is hosted by journeyman Blues musician Red Priest to help promote awareness of the needs of Traumatic Brain Injury Survivors and the Acquired Brain Injury Survivors community.
