Brenham Children's Chorus

A nonprofit organization

The Brenham Children's Chorus provides choral music education and performance opportunities for children and youth regardless of gender, ethnicity, race, religion, or economic status. Consistent with the mission of the Board of Trustees, no interested singer is denied participation due to a lack of finances and tuition resources are available.

Since 2003, the Brenham Children's Chorus has provided exceptional quality music education for interested children and youth from age 5 through 18. Composed of 5 age-determined ensembles, singers receive instruction and experiences in choral singing, voicing, musical theatre, choreography, and rhythm and movement. In addition to performing at civic events, public concerts, and musicals in the community, the Brenham Children's Chorus has collaborated and performed with the Brazos Valley Symphony Orchestra and Chorale, the A & M Century Singers, the Houston Boychoir, and Blinn College Camerata. As ambassadors for Brenham and the Brazos Valley, the Chorus has toured and performed in Tennessee, Missouri, Georgia, Wisconsin, and Florida.

Testimonials

Many 'graduates' of the Brenham Children's Chorus continue their music education in college and chosen career. Benefitting from the education and experience they received in the Chorus, these singers have become Music teachers, Choir Directors, Musical Theatre professionals, and Band Directors.
