BRIC Arts Media

A nonprofit organization

We’re BRIC Arts Media, aka BRIC, founded in 1979 as The Fund for the Borough of Brooklyn to drive economic revitalization through the arts by providing free cultural programming to its residents. At the time, our primary function was to host the now-legendary BRIC Celebrate Brooklyn! Festival. We expanded to include a contemporary art gallery (1981) and named the Public Access Television Network for Brooklyn (1988). Today, our work reaches 200,000 people annually and encompasses performing arts, in-school arts instruction, adult media education, and artist residencies.

A Space to Create, a Place to Transform

BRIC is a creative haven for dreamers and storytellers located in the heart of downtown Brooklyn. It’s a transformational space where artists and audiences connect, visionary ideas are brought to life, and YOU and your community are empowered to express yourselves authentically. Join us in this culture-shifting work by supporting BRIC through a donation today.
