Who We Are

Bridge of Hope Harrisburg Area opens doors to permanent, sustainable housing for single mothers and their children experiencing homelessness in York, Dauphin, and Cumberland counties. Single mothers and their children are matched with 6 to 8 Neighobirng Volunteers who walk with them for the duration of their time in the program providing supportive relationships, social capital, and basic needs. Families graduate from the program achieving three main outcomes: safe and sustainable housing, strong and resilient families, and supportive neighboring relationships.
