Guided by our vision of shared resources, shared outcomes, shared dreams, Bringing Justice Home fosters the health and well-being of all Louisvilleans, prioritizing the needs and gifts of those marginalized by disability or health status, and engages the community in the work of justice.

Everyone has basic needs, but also unique talents and potential. At Bringing Justice Home, we believe that by fulfilling those needs, we empower individuals to unleash their potential and achieve their dreams.

Unfortunately, Louisville faces a critical issue: one of the highest food insecurity rates in the nation. This disproportionately impacts our neighbors whose needs are often unmet by the current system, particularly those with medical vulnerabilities. This limited access to healthy food choices creates a significant barrier to their health and well-being.

Healthy food is but one foundation for a healthy life. That's why we go beyond just delivering groceries. We provide resources and education not only to the people we serve, but also to the broader community. We educate our community about food insecurity and the specific access needs of people with disabilities and health challenges. This fosters understanding and empowers everyone to play a role in creating a community where everyone can shine.

By changing hearts and minds around issues of access, including access to healthy food, we can create a more just and equitable community where everyone has the opportunity to thrive.
