Experience the best of Broadway right here in Sacramento! Broadway Sacramento's Broadway At Music Circus is Sacramento's longtime summertime tradition, beginning in 1951. The beloved series of musicals is produced under the leadership of President/CEO Scott Klier. Recognized nationally for innovative casting, Broadway At Music Circus is committed to producing musical theatre standards while introducing new classics to the repertoire. The theatre-in-the-round productions integrate top performers, directors and designers from Broadway and around the country with talented local support staff, exceptional theatre students and generous volunteers. In 2024, over 27,000 actors from across the country applied for the 2024 Broadway At Music season and auditions were conducted in New York, Los Angeles and Sacramento.

Since 1989, Broadway Sacramento has presented Broadway On Tour on the SAFE Credit Union Performing Arts Center's stage from September to May. Comprising a six-to-eight show mix of first-rate touring productions, Broadway On Tour is now the largest performing arts event in the Capital Region. While Broadway At Music Circus and Broadway On Tour meet Broadway Sacramento's mission of enriching the cultural life of the city of Sacramento, the company's education and community engagement department pursues the goal of educating new audiences and nurturing aspiring artists. The educational and community engagement efforts touch the lives of thousands every year, providing innovative and diverse programs, including music, theatre and dance workshops, summer performance-based programs for kids and teens, wide-ranging theatre arts internships, enhanced theatrical experiences for under-served populations and dance intensives taught by Broadway At Music Circus professional artists. Broadway Sacramento is a non-profit 501(c)(3) tax exempt organization. Besides ticket sales, tax-deductible donations from individuals, corporations and foundations are a part of Broadway Sacramento's annual operating budget. A board of directors comprised of local business and community leaders help guide the organization in fulfilling its mission and goals.
