Brooks's Bookshelf

Our bookshelves share the joy of reading and also spread awareness of Down Syndrome and other uniqueness's. Located throughout our community, each bookshelf includes books of all interest with specific books focused on kindness, compassion, special needs, diversity, and understanding individuals with unique differences. Brooks's Bookshelf was created in celebration of our son, Brooks. "Reading, learning, growing with love & joy as we build a more open, understanding & inclusive community"

We focus on having books that are inclusive, diverse and unique, as well as support compassion and kindness to others.
Books range from picture/baby up to early readers.

Every story and every person is unique and beautiful.
Children are welcome to take a book home in celebration of those differences. Guess what!? You can keep it or share it with a friend!
