The Foundation provides a number of community programs and services:
1. Volunteers in Police Services (VIPS) - a corp of over 50 trained volunteers who provide citizen patrols; officer assistance with traffic control, equipment set up at road accidents and crime scenes as well as community events; deployment of radar trailers and portable light plants; vehicle transport; assistance with Lunch with Blue school programs; assistance with police department community meetings such as Coffee with the Chief; and transporting vehicles for regional DUI Task Force events
2. Victim Assistance program that provides temporary shelter to families affected by domestic violence. The production and printing of victim assistance print materials. Volunteers mail information and make phone contact with victims.
3. The Foundation is assiting in the acquition of and funding building improvements of a temporary shelter (safe house) for victims of domestic violence crimes
4. Crime Prevention Programs to reduce personal and property crimes. New programs will address the needs of businesses and apartment complex residents
5. Public safety programs for residents, home owners, youth and teens
6. Buckeye Cares - a weekly well check for residents who live alone and/or who are homebound
7. Chaplaincy services
8. Victim Assistance coordination - victim education, data management, and reports
9. Project oversight for the AgeWorks' placements and emplyment orientation and training
10. City Hall Front Desk services
11. Police Department Front Lobby services
12. Promote and provide opportunities for business partners and community residents with events supporting the services of our police officers
