Burleson County Area Go Texan

Burleson County Area Go Texan main mission is to Support students, Promoting Texas-made products, and increasing community awareness of Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo and Scholarships for Senior Students. We are one of over 75 Area Go Texan committees in association with Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo.; which last year in scholarships we gave out just little over $47,000. We only host 2 fundraiser events per year to raise the funds to help these kids with expenses to College or Trade School.

Burleson County Area Go Texan is comprised of about 18 volunteers whose mission is to raise scholarships and continuing education funds for local students. We have anywhere from 15-20 applicants every year and we give up to $1500 per applicant which we hope in the future we can increase scholarship funds.
