Butler Meals on Wheels, Inc. Mission Statement: Butler Meals on Wheels, Inc. is a not-for-profit freestanding organization governed by a volunteer Board of Directors. The purpose of Butler Meals on Wheels, Inc. is to provide excellent, nutritious, home delivered meals to individuals in need within the service area comprising Butler city and it's environs. The meals are provided to maintain adequate nutrition for those recuperating from illness and suffering impaired functional ability.

Butler Meals on Wheels provides hot, well-balanced nutritious meals for the homebound who are unable to prepare meals or shop for themselves.This also helps keep the elderly in their homes, insuring the dignity of independent living. We also provide a daily check on the person to ensure their safety. There is no age or income requirement. Clients may be reevaluated to assess their situation. A minimal fee is charged which covers a portion of the cost of the meal. This is supplemented by community donations and volunteer hours. No one is refused service for inability to pay and financial aide may be considered on a case by case situation. No funding is received from government agencies. All funding is derived from client fees, grants, local individuals, and other organizations.
