Support CAA's 56th Anniversary Celebration of Justice gala.
This May, we invite you to take action in defense of civil rights by making a gift in support of CAA's Celebration of Justice. As part of our gala fundraising efforts, your gift this month will help sustain and grow our work.
The Celebration of Justice brings together community leaders, activists, and organizational partners to celebrate and renew our commitment to social justice. As our organization’s largest annual fundraiser, it provides vital resources to fuel our fight for democracy and civil rights for all.
Learn more about the Celebration of Justice
Chinese for Affirmative Action (CAA) was founded in 1969 to protect the civil and political rights of Chinese Americans and to advance multiracial democracy in the United States. Today, CAA is a progressive voice in and on behalf of the broader Asian American and Pacific Islander community. We advocate for systemic change that protects immigrant rights, promotes language diversity, and remedies racial and social injustice.
Take a stand for justice with CAA. Be a guardian for democracy. Together, we are stronger than those who want to divide us.
Your support is critical as we fight for a country and world that works for everyone. Your support allows us to:
Oppose Draconian Immigration Policies
Help us combat cruel attacks against immigrants. With your support, we can fight to protect birthright citizenship, preserve the constitutional rights of all immigrants, resist unlawful and inhumane mass deportations, and share resources for immigrant communities.
Counter Widespread Chinese-Language Disinformation
With the resurgence of Trumpism and right-wing lies on Chinese-language social media platforms, you can help CAA fight propaganda and disinformation, and build a stronger unified voice in Chinese language digital spaces. Our fact-checking and critical analysis, work to counter the spread of disinformation and keep our community safe.
Champion and Build Community Power
As our national politics and federal government are under siege by right-wing ideologues, we are working to fortify networks of local and grassroots power to uphold our democratic principles and support resilience within our communities. This includes advocating for more language access in San Francisco, empowering Chinatown with equitable internet access, and uplifting the stories of courage and liberation that emanate from our community’s history.
Grow our Movement for Diverse Democracy
Our work at CAA includes anchoring and leading emerging initiatives and national partnerships such as Asian Americans for Civil Rights and Equality, Chinatown Media & Arts Collaborative, and Stop AAPI Hate. At CAA we are leading the way to engage our community along with other communities of color to advance racial and social justice.
Make a Difference Today.
Please act now by making a contribution to support CAA in maintaining and expanding crucial resources during this urgent time.
