CADA promotes a safe and healthy community by providing prevention, treatment and recovery support services that foster well-being and resilience.

CADA Prevention & Recovery Center is a non-profit health agency that has provided substance abuse prevention, treatment, and early intervention programs to individuals and families in the New Orleans area since 1960. Our behavioral health services include:
- Prevention Education in Elementary, Middle, and High School:
We provide prevention services to schools throughout Greater New Orleans that incorporate decision-making and life skills training.
- Intensive Case Management:
We work with substance abuse treatment providers through the rehabilitation process and provide comprehensive case management services including job readiness, trauma coping skills, healthcare & legal referrals. We specialize in working with vulnerable populations including those at risk for homelessness, incarceration, or HIV.
- Intensive Outpatient/Addiction Treatment Program (IOP):
8-week outpatient treatment program for adults experiencing chronic problems with alcohol or other drugs.
- Mental Health Counseling-
We provide mental health counseling for all community members (regardless of ability to pay) which promotes well-being and enhanced quality of life.
