California Business Education Association

The California Business Education Association, Inc. (CBEA) was founded over 80-Years ago.  The prime mission of CBEA is to recognize, encourage, and promote excellence in business and collaborate with other disciplines.  The CBEA represents professionals involved in education for and about business, marketing, and related information technologies.  This includes all levels of education from K-12, colleges, and universities at both public and private institutions.  The organization officers and membership collaborate with other similar organizations promoting business education in California.  The members of CBEA work closely with the Western and National Business Education Associations to ensure the highest levels of business education available.  This is accomplished so our graduates are competitive in any business career field.  The CBEA has annual conferences with speakers on current subjects of concern for business education, California Business Initiatives, and Career Technical Education (CTE).   Our member educators collaborate and share best practices that will make our students competitive in the careers necessary for successful business endeavors. 

The CBEA is very active in promoting advocacy for CTE in California schools.  CTE careers directly affect business endeavors.  This endeavor promoting business education and CTE is valuable to the business environment in California today and in the future.
