It Started in Delano…

The California Farmworker Foundation (CFF) is headquartered in Delano, California—right in the heart of the Central Valley—where generations of farmworkers have helped feed the nation.

CFF was founded by a group of community leaders, many from farmworking families, who saw a need to break down barriers to healthcare, education, and basic services. In 2016, they launched CFF with a mission to support and uplift California’s farmworker communities by improving their quality of life.

What started in Delano has now grown across seven counties. From mobile health clinics and nutrition classes to scholarships, workforce development, and public benefit support, CFF brings vital services directly to the places where farmworkers live and work—churches, fields, schools, and neighborhoods.

In 2024, we reached over 90,000 farmworkers through our core service areas: Health, Education, and Civil Assistance. We use a unique model to meet farmworkers where they are at —whether it's the worksite or in the community.
