Healing Faith (Segner Ministries)

Founded by Brazos Valley residents Jason('01) and Kari Segner in 2011, Healing Faith aims to heal the people of Uganda physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Their mission is to educate, equip, and empower families to prevent, treat, and cure malaria, with the goal of ending malaria-related deaths in Uganda while showing/sharing the love of Christ with patients.

Malaria is preventable and treatable. Since the opening of the second center near the Nile River, there have been zero malaria deaths. With your support, we can continue to make a difference - one patient, one life, and one family at a time.

Healing Faith Uganda brings hope and healing to communities plagued by malaria by addressing the following:

- Lack of access to free treatment and education
- Established Medical Centers in high malaria transmission regions

Testimonials

Thousands of patents come to the malaria centers to receive testing and treatment each year, many including children under the age of 5. Malaria is the #1 killer of children in this age range, in Uganda. This is Nakato's story.

Nakato (1 year, 8 months) was brought by her mother to the Malaria Center in May 2020 in severe condition. Her mother said, "We were totally losing her. I almost lost my mind seeing the state that my child was in." It was a very scary situation, but thankfully we were able to provide life-saving malaria treatment and education.
