Camp Tyler was established in 1945 and is the oldest continuously operating outdoor school in the nation, built by the community for the community. The children and their education are our top priority. We are dedicated to preserving this great East Texas asset to pass along for generations to come for children of all ages. We realize that children need the outdoor learning experience as well as the camaraderie of team building. Camp Tyler provides unique experiences of farm life, aquatics, blacksmithing, fishing, hiking, canoeing, archery and team building to allow students to truly engage with nature on over 300 acres nestled in the piney woods of East Texas. Camp Tyler has been serving and educating children for 80 years and we need your help to continue to change the lives of East Texas youth and our entire community. Every dollar pledged will directly affect our efforts to meet and exceed our mission.
