Candlewoof Dog Park was established in 2010 by a dedicated group of community members who recognized the need for a dog park in New Milford. Through generous donations, volunteer support, and land made available by Kimberly-Clark, Candlewoof has grown into a thriving, well-loved community dog park.

Candlewoof Dog Park of New Milford is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.

The ongoing operation and maintenance of the park includes lawn care, insurance, trash removal, poop bags, parking lot maintenance, repairs, and many other essential expenses. As costs continue to rise, we rely solely on donations and community support to keep the park open and thriving.
