Canongate Catholic High School

In 2013, a small group of dedicated parents and parishioners opened the doors of Canongate to offer a Catholic high school education to families in the Asheville and Hendersonville region. In May 2022, Bishop Jugis designated Canongate as a “Catholic” school in affiliate status with the Diocese of Charlotte. Now in our eleventh year, Canongate Catholic High School offers a robust academic high school education based on the rich intellectual tradition of our Catholic faith. We have a vibrant school culture that brings renewal to the lives of our students and their families through regular participation in the sacraments, outdoor adventures and a strong performing arts program. Our mission is to work in partnership with Immaculata and Asheville Catholic schools to build a Catholic future for Western North Carolina.
