Canopy’s mission is to grow business beyond profit. We all benefit when local businesses are working towards achieving measurable environmental and social impact, operating with high ethical standards, and taking care of all stakeholders as they go about making a profit.

In order to drive meaningful change in how local businesses positively impact people, our communities, and our environment, we recognize the critical need for a comprehensive three-pillared strategy: education, certification, and connection. Through these three pillars, Canopy supports and empowers businesses in Louisville and throughout Kentucky to incorporate Good Business practices. Here's what we do:

Educate

We create and enact educational moments designed to grow existing and future businesses beyond profit, specifically for K-12, Post-secondary, and Professional/Business audiences!

Certify

We offer an on-line certification platform for member businesses that guides their companies towards more fully growing businesses beyond profit and recognizes their efforts.

Connect

We host events designed to provide value to our members and our communities.
