Capabilities, Inc.

Capabilities is a nonprofit in Elmira, NY that was founded in 1956 after community members recognized people with disabilities were often excluded from employment opportunities. Community members, some of whom belonged to the Rotary Club of Elmira, worked tirelessly to raise money, construct a business and design an inclusive program. Our mission remains the same: to help those with disabilities and other barriers reach their career and education goals.
