Cary John Efurd Ministries, Inc.

The mission of Cary John Efurd Ministries is the same mission Jesus gave his followers - to go and make disciples, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. We are a church without walls, ministering to the disenfranchised in our community with mental health issues, incarceration, drug and alcohol dependencies, and homelessness. We meet people as they are and where they are as we counsel the individual and entire family unit.

You hear it everywhere. Mental health is declining in America and addictions are rapidly increasing. That's our focus at Cary John Efurd Ministries. Scripture says without a vision the people perish. Our vision is to be the hands and feet of Jesus in the Northeast Texas community by ministering to those in bondage of addiction, mental illness, homelessness, abuse, and more. We partner with other local ministries in ministering to those in need as we witness the transformative power of Jesus Christ.. It is said you can't live 40 days without food, 4 days without water, 4 minutes without air, and not one second without hope. We know where hope is found -- in Jesus Christ.

Not a day goes by that a phone call comes in asking for help for a loved one in jail, needing help with mental health problems, drug and/or alcohol dependencies. While ministering to those asking for help, we provide the hope and peace that can only be found in Jesus Christ to an entire family. In the last year we have taken over 500 phone calls, driven over 38,000 miles, met the daily needs of housing, work, and food for many, and visited those incarcerated in numerus county jails and state prisons.
