CASA of Trinity Valley

CASA of Trinity Valley provides independent, highly trained volunteer advocates for children in the custody of Texas Department of Family and Protective Services in Anderson, Cherokee and Henderson counties. We empower volunteers to advocate for the children's best interests, to ensure that their needs are met, and to secure a permanent, safe and nurturing home as soon as possible.

Unfortunately, we have recently seen an explosion in the number of children coming into foster care each year. Out of 72 CASA chapters in Texas, we are now ranked sixth in the state according to number of children served annually. This is astonishing because we serve a rural area. The top five programs in Texas are all metro areas: Dallas, San Antonio, Houston, Austin and Fort Worth. The increases in the number of children entering foster care mean we are continuously recruiting volunteers to advocate for our children.
