CASA of Titus Camp and Morris Counties

A nonprofit organization

The mission of CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) of Titus, Camp, and Morris Counties, Inc., is to train and supervise community volunteers to be a leading voice in advocating for safe, permanent, nurturing homes for children in the foster care system.

Dear Individual, Business Owner, or Corporate Owner,

Thank you for considering a donation to CASA of Titus, Camp, and Morris Counties.

CASA of Titus, Camp, and Morris Counties is a nonprofit, volunteer-based organization dedicated to increasing the well-being of children in foster care and ensuring each child’s best interests are met. Our volunteers are appointed by judges to advocate for children throughout their cases, always supporting reunification when it is safe and appropriate to do so. For many children, their CASA volunteer is the one consistent and caring presence in their lives during a time of uncertainty, working collaboratively with others involved in the case.

In fiscal year 2025, our organization served 82 children who had experienced abuse and neglect, supported by 20 dedicated volunteers. CASA volunteers ensure that each child’s voice is heard. They advocate for the child’s best interests and make informed recommendations to the court regarding the child’s physical and emotional well-being. As committed community members, our volunteers work alongside families, caseworkers, and the courts to support children involved in the foster care system.

Your generosity and support help CASA of Titus, Camp, and Morris Counties in many meaningful ways.

Because of you, we are able to:

  • Recruit, train, and support our dedicated volunteers.

  • Strengthen the vital advocacy work our volunteers provide to children in foster care.

  • Fulfill the needs and wishes of the children we serve.

  • Connect children and families with important resources while navigating the foster care system.

  • Support our staff, who oversee, guide, and coach CASA volunteers. When volunteers are unavailable or need additional assistance, our staff step in to ensure that the needs of the children and families continue to be met without interruption.

Your support directly impacts children who have experienced abuse and neglect, helping ensure they have consistent advocacy and compassionate support during a critical time in their lives.

We are deeply grateful for your generosity and partnership in this important work.

"Being a CASA advocate is very rewarding. You have the responsibility of keeping that child’s care & safety the #1 goal. You also have the opportunity to meet, confer & form working relationships with others involved in your cases; fellow CASA volunteers, CASA supervisors, attorneys, caseworkers, parents, foster parents & judges to name a few." - Todd Kresnik, CASA Volunteer, 7 years of service
