Vision Statement: Catch the Vision is a Christian based mission organization dedicated to meeting the physical and spiritual needs of people locally and worldwide.

Mission Statement:
Raise funds to support community development projects and Christian training initiatives in developing countries throughout the world. Examples include church construction, orphanage support, medical clinics, and pastor training programs.

Implement and manage projects and training programs through our missionary partners worldwide.

Provide opportunities to visit our projects through short term mission/vision trips.

Show a Christian example locally and provide opportunities to support foreign missions while remaining stateside.

Encourage a lifestyle of helping others and showing God's love through action and example.

Match volunteer gifts and talents with Catch the Vision's organizational and project needs.

Continue to explore local and foreign mission opportunities.

I placed my faith and trust in the Lord Jesus Christ June 29, 1980 after being invited to Greater Faith Baptist Church by a SC State University student from Campus Ministry. This was three years after I broke my neck as a high school athlete in gymnastics and was paralyzed from the neck down. I dedicate my life to the Lord Jesus by being His disciple, sharing my faith, and making disciples of others as a student and now as a 29 year employee. I was asked to and enthusiastically became faculty/staff advisor of campus ministry, later chartering the ministry to be Campus Crusade for Christ International (Cru Ministries), and then The SC State University Chapter of The ImpactMovemrnt (the sister ministry of Cru Ministries).
I was blessed to buy a house in April 1996 and live independently. When faced with being financially able to do my house payments and doing an absolutely necessary replacement of my roof or lose my homeowners insurance and eventually my house, I reached out the Habitat for Humanity for assistance. Because I was a consistent 29 year employee, I was referred to Catch The Vision Ministries and Brother Jerry French. Meeting Brother Jerry for the first time our "kindred spirits in Christ" hit it of the first time?. I shared my situation and need with Brother Jerry in much more detail. We prayed believing the Lord, and he assured me he would get back with me shortly.
Brother Jerry and Catch The Vision Ministries consented to helping me with my situation. The Catch The Vision Ministries Construction Crew did an exceptional job on replacing the roof of my home and the fellowship was "off the chain" too. When Brother Jerry was completing the finishing touches on the roof, it was especially special just sitting out in the back yard fellowshipping with Brother Jerry and Debbie (his wife) as she helped him in her own unique way?. Brother Jerry, Debbie and I still communicate/ fellowship via phone, text, and facetime. The friendship is great!!!
