Centenary College of Louisiana

A nonprofit organization

As Centenary approaches its 200th year in 2025 and prepares for a third century of superior liberal arts education, the College has made a difference in the lives of generations of Ladies and Gents.

Your gift to the College will ensure that new generations of students will have access to the life-changing experiences that Centenary can provide.

Forward: The Campaign for Our Third Century will keep Centenary moving forward with a focus on advancing the sciences – including a $20 million dollar renovation of Mickle Hall – expanding endowed scholarships, and providing ongoing support for new academic and co-curricular programs and current operations through the Transformation Fund and the Centenary Annual Fund.

Quotes from the Campaign Announcement - Saturday, November 4, 2023

"At 97, I may not have many more chances to make a difference, but by God's grace, I mean to be part of this one! Join us in this (Forward: The Campaign for Our Third Century)! I know, in your life out there, you're very useful, and bless you for it: but here, at this College, you're vital. Imagine a day up ahead when you're 97, and you're standing here recalling gratefully: you look around, and think back to this day, when you were one of those who launched Centenary forward! That's the word: forward! " - Dr. Donald Webb, Centenary College President Emeritus

"Centenary not only provided me with a strong liberal arts education but a connection to the community that was invaluable as I began to lead a nonprofit here in Shreveport. The skills and knowledge I learned at Centenary continue to support me in my life's work. And Centenary is still supporting me in that way - I've hired several graduates through the years whom I met through our projects and their volunteerism. Every one of them has been exceptional - well-prepared, articulate, confident in their knowledge, and delightful to work with. Centenary continues to produce well-rounded, well-educated graduates equipped to take on the challenges of life!" - Donna Curtis '69, Executive Director of Shreveport Green

"The truth is, everyone in our region has a Centenary connection. We are Shreveport-Bossier's College. We are so excited to be part of this community. We ask for your help in completing this amazing campaign, to secure Centenary's place in Shreveport and its place in its third century. Forward, Centenary. " - Dr. Christopher Holoman, Centenary College President
