Center for Accessible Living, Inc.

The Center for Accessible Living (CAL) is Kentucky’s first Independent Living Center, serving individuals with disabilities for more than four decades. With offices in Louisville, Lexington, Murray, and Bowling Green, CAL provides services throughout Kentucky.

CAL is a private, nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization governed by people with disabilities and dedicated to advancing disability rights, independence, and inclusion. We serve individuals with all types of disabilities and from all backgrounds.

As a federally funded Center for Independent Living established under the Rehabilitation Act, CAL provides five core services: information and referral, independent living skills training, peer support, advocacy, and transition services.

Our mission is to be an innovative leader and community partner in empowering all people to achieve their goal of independent living.
