Help Us Build a Creative Future — One Brushstroke at a Time

At the Center for the Arts – Lake Sunapee Region, we believe that everyone deserves access to the arts. Whether it's a child picking up a paintbrush for the first time, a teen finding their voice through music, or a classroom brought to life by color and imagination — the arts transform lives.

🌟 But We Can’t Do It Without You. We're launching an ambitious campaign to raise $50,000 for arts education — funding that directly supports:

  • Free and reduced-cost art classes and summer camps

  • Creative programs for all-abled individuals and families

  • Arts enrichment grants to local schools where funding has been cut

Every dollar makes a difference. $25 buys art supplies for a student $120 sends a child to summer camp $1,200 supports a school arts grant This is our most urgent need, and your support will put art into the hands of those who need it most — right now.

🏛️ Looking Ahead: A Home for the Arts

We’re also dreaming bigger — because our community deserves it.

To truly serve this region with year-round programs, workshops, performances, and exhibitions, we must establish a permanent home for the arts. This means raising $500,000–$3 million to purchase and renovate a dedicated space — a creative hub that belongs to the people of the Lake Sunapee Region.

This vision will take time, leadership, and generosity. But with your support, it's within reach.

Who We Are

We are a volunteer community based organization which supports the arts in the Lake Sunapee Region. Through our Free Community Arts Events each month, our scholarships for talented students, our Regional Event E-Calendar, Exhibits, Shows and Special Programs...we support the ARTS!

The arts are an essential component of our greater community and it is up to organizations, such as The Center for the Arts, to facilitate sustainable partnerships with both other organizations and artists in our region.

We are a small organization with a big vision. We welcome new ideas and encourage the community's partnership through communication, membership and volunteering.
We act as a centralized source of information for regional cultural events and seek out artists and help them find a voice before the public. We collaborate with other organizations to increase public awareness of their art and cultural programs and help support them, and create events and programs to enhance existing venues and we experiment with new ones.
We expand existing educational opportunities for youth and adults, and showcase these talents in our community.
