Our Mission: Guided by advanced science, we reduce exposure to toxic chemicals in our air, water, soil, food, and the products we use every day. Our mission is to protect public health and support decision-makers by leading science-backed approaches that center prevention and remedy environmental injustice. We catalyze policy solutions, drive awareness, develop standards, initiate cutting-edge research, and litigate toward systemic change in our world. Our Vision: Advance policy and accelerate science to achieve a cleaner, safer, healthier world.

Since its founding in 1996, The Center for Environmental Health (CEH) has been leading the national effort to protect people and the environment from toxic chemicals. CEH is on the front lines leading the charge of environmental health to eliminate pollutants that harm people. CEH stops corporations from exposing people to toxic chemicals, collaborates with responsible businesses and industry leaders, and supports the vision and on-the-groundwork with communities to eliminate hazardous chemicals. CEH focuses on science, policy, litigation, education, and hands-on support. We have been relentless in testing countless products, exposing the harm chemicals can cause, working with companies, exposing bad actors, and creating policy. Individuals should not be forced to use products that cause cancer, birth defects, brain damage, hormonal issues or any other debilitating illnesses. We are advancing environmental health and justice for the greater good. We are the Center for Environmental Health. From the courtroom to the boardroom, together we can do great things.
