Charmed & Chosen’s mission is to provide youth, and young adults in underserved communities with education and resources, practical life skills, financial literacy, and job opportunities, mental wellness, and STEAM (Science Technology Engineering Arts and Math) introduction.

Over the last 4 years, Charmed & Chosen (C&C) has engaged with over 500 youth across Kern County. 

WE Need Your Support!! 

Fundraising helps us expand our programs and address gender gaps in health and education by hosting monthly sessions ad community workshops., increasing the number of youths we can serve by 25% including Foster Youth.   Thus, generating funds is essential to enhancing their lives through education and driving social change.

In 2025 we are seeking FUNDING to support Operational expenses and expand all our Empoweremnt Programs, including an Energy Education and STEAM (Science Technology Engineering, Arts & Math) and Programs to include Artificial Intelligence, innovation and Renewable Energy Technolgy to reduce disparities in the workforce prepare them to compete in the workforce.

2024 ACCOMPLISHMENTS: Implemented: 5 Significant Programs:

1. Finacial Literacy Experience - 40 High School Boys Education on Finances, Budgeting, & Wealth Building (two $500 scholarships awarded) 

2. "There Is More to Me Then What I See" Workshop: Empowered 80 Women & Girls 

3.  Thriving Thursday's a 10 - Week Empowerment Program (weekly 1.5-hour sessions); 24 of 30 Completed 100% of the course work. 

4. "Glow Up & Shine" Workshop - 75 Girls Empowered focused on Education, Mindset, Inner Beauty & Self-Confidence.

5. Weekly Workforce Readiness Workshops; Branding, interview skills and resume writing (7- Youth Employed)  

In 2024 we received financial support from: 

1. Women's & Girls Grant Award Recipient and as a result were able to successfully help 150 Women and Girls.

2. Kern Health Systems Community Grant - Provided Health & Wellness Resources, Food Boxes and Hygiene Kits to 100 Families.
