Our mission is to lift the spirits of poverty stricken individuals and families in the poorest communities by offering solutions to poverty, hunger and social injustice and support ideas that educates, informs and inspires them. We partner with department stores to receive their overstock, returns, out of season and buy backs and reissue those items to veterans, elderly, disabled and unwed mothers through cargo van delivery..

On April 5, 2012, the Cheffen Wilson Milton Foundation celebrated its 5th year of serving the New Orleans community with fundraising events geared toward education and economic success. Two years ago, our concentration switched gears identifying elderly and disabled citizens and veterans and assisting them with much needed household items and furniture. The Cheffen Wilson Milton Foundation has been successful in contracting with local department stores (Bed Bath and Beyond, Guess Clothing store, Seventh Generation Diapers Walmart and Lazy Boy) to donate brand new recliners, housewares, bed linen, vacuums, dishes, utensils, pots, pans, Keurig machines, pictures, outdoor grills, fire places, seasonal items and much more. We believed that by changing our agency strategy, we are reaching an audience that has a greater need. To date, our plan has worked at an amazing rate.
Being a qualifying 501c3 agency, that enabled the CWMF to enrol in Good360.org's program as an agency trustworthy of contracting, receiving and distributing goods to the community. Good360.org seeks non-profit agencies that can assist them by accepting items on their behalf and distributing to the community. Thanks!
