Children's Chorus of San Antonio

A nonprofit organization

Who We Are

Since 1983, the Children’s Chorus of San Antonio (CCSA) has brought the transformative power of music to children and families across San Antonio. Through a commitment to artistic excellence, inclusivity, and personal growth, we inspire young singers to embrace a broader, more positive view of themselves and the world.

Unmatched Musical Experiences

CCSA offers unparalleled choral instruction and performance opportunities, creating an environment where students receive top-tier music education. As a resident company of the Tobin Center for the Performing Arts, our seven choirs and music programs serve over 700 students from San Antonio’s diverse and vibrant communities, providing them with year-round programming, concerts, and collaboration opportunities that make a lasting impact. CCSA's programs reach over 1,500 individuals each year.

Music for all

At CCSA, we work to make music opportunities accessible to everyone. In addition to choral training and performance ensembles, CCSA consists of Music Together, our early childhood music and movement program for babies, toddlers, and the grown-ups who love them. This program is offered free to families experiencing homelessness at the Haven for Hope facility. Choral programs are also offered at no cost through our Neighborhood Choirs. These tuition-free ensembles engage underserved children year-round with inspiring musical experiences in their own neighborhoods.

From infants to young adults, CCSA constantly strives to enrich, transform, and empower the next generation of singers and leaders.

Building a Collaborative Future

We believe CCSA prepares young people not only to excel musically, but also to thrive as engaged, responsible citizens. Our singers gain critical life skills through performances and collaborations with leading organizations like Opera San Antonio, the San Antonio Chamber Choir, and the San Antonio Mastersingers. By fostering social awareness and a sense of responsibility, we help build a foundation for their future success in society.

CCSA is more than just a choir—it’s a community where children find their voices and discover the lifelong value of music. Your donation directly supports our mission to provide high-quality music education that shapes and enriches lives, both now and for the future. With your help, we can continue creating transformative experiences that nurture artistic and personal growth in the young people we serve.

During the Big Give, every dollar you contribute will go towards sustaining our programs and ensuring more children have the chance to sing, grow, and raise their voices. We know you have many choices when it comes to supporting local non-profits, and we sincerely hope you’ll choose to support CCSA.
