ChildSafe is Bexar
County's only Children's Advocacy Center, a unique nonprofit that unites law
enforcement, child protection, and medical and mental health experts to provide
a compassionate response for children who have experienced abuse or neglect.

Every dollar you
give today goes directly to helping a child heal.

Thanks to supporters like you, in 2024, our dedicated
team provided essential services to our community, including:

• 
  1,840 forensic interviews to help children safely share their
  stories.
  


• 
  6,604 healing counseling sessions to help them process trauma and begin
  to heal.
  


• 
  148 exploited or trafficked youth received specialized care and
  long-term support.
  


• 
  4,987 community members were trained on how to recognize and
  report abuse.
  


• 
  4,300 clients received essential items from our
  resource room.
  

In total, we
provided 25,020 services to children and their caregivers. Your support
makes this life-changing work possible.

Your donation
directly impacts a child's journey to healing:

  95% of families who received clinical therapy
  reported improved problem-solving skills.

  85% of adults reported increased knowledge of risk
  factors associated with child abuse after our training.

  70% of children reported overall improvement after
  therapy.
  

Our goal for

As the only Children’s Advocacy Center in Bexar County, our mission is to restore dignity, hope, and trust to children traumatized by abuse and neglect. ChildSafe is Bexar County's most advanced trauma-informed care center for child survivors of abuse and neglect and their non-offending family members.
