Since 2014, ChooseWell Communities has faithfully journeyed with families in early sobriety with small children. We are improving the odds of maintaining sobriety and stability during this fragile and precious time of their children’s development.

Parenting is tough enough on its own, navigating parenting while suffering from Substance Use Disorder (SUD) is even harder. The first five years of children’s lives are more critical to healthy brain development than the rest of their lifetimes. Meanwhile, the first three years of sobriety are predictive of long-term recovery. That's where we come in!

We are the ONLY organization in Louisville, KY providing a long-term solution for parents in recovery through housing and supports. Our community gathers weekly to build their recovery capital, work on personal goals, and be the parents that their children deserve. For up to three years, parents at ChooseWell learn and grow together, building foundations that can last a lifetime.
